What about sustainability?
The ecological dilemmas of our time center around declining supplies of freshwater, and increased habitat loss due to skyrocketing urbanization. In addition, everyday life has simply become faster, more hectic. Sustainability to us entails crafting elegant and effective landscape and urban design solutions that are a direct challenge to these trends.

The plant materials we choose are big on visual impact but low on water needs, and a significant portion of those plant materials are chosen in part because of their value to wildlife - to birds, butterflies, bees (no rabbits, please). Our rain gardens capture storm runoff and allow that water to percolate down into the soil on site rather than being sent down, polluted, into the storm drains. We also gladly incporporate components of urban agriculture - composts, vegetable beds, chicken coops - into an overall site plan that is cohesive and ensures that these urban ag elements blend in to the landscape rather than play unkempt center stage.
